 Announcements:

  • Telus Spark Field Trip - Tues, Feb. 28
    • Bring a cold, bagged lunch (no purchasing of food!)
    • If missing form, bring ASAP
  • On Thursday, March 2, Ms. Love will move the role of acting assistant principal. She will assist in the transition as a new teacher takes over. 
This week...

Humanities: In ELA, we will continue looking at plot diagram and story elements through Greek myths. Students will begin writing an original myth. For Social, students will start to look at the structure of the Athenian government. 

Trading Cards: Due Mon, Feb. 27

French: Students will continue building their neighborhoods. Labeling for buildings and jobs will commence.

Phys Ed & Wellness: Students will continue the basketball unit. In Health, they will continue working on the nutrition project that was started last week. The goal is to analyze a typical meal to see where small improvements could be made to make it healthier.

Humanities: Students will work on completing several assignments they have been working on over the past few weeks. ALL will be due on Thurs, March 16 . Assignments: Greek Myth, Athens: A Day in the Life, Winter/Summer Opinion French: This is the last week for students to build and label their French towns. Next week, there will be a gallery walk to see the other students' work and some listening/speaking activities.  Phys Ed & Wellness: Students will complete their Nutrition Projects and continue to play cooperative games in Phys Ed where the focus will be on sportsmanship.
